You are a sales engineer employed by a U.S. supplier of equipment used for oilfield exploration. Your Chinese coworker Qin Li is about to give a technical brief to a prospective client based in Beijing. Qin is extremely knowledgeable about the technology being discussed, but at the last minute the client asks you to give the presentation since you are the “foreign expert.” How would you handle this situation?
